ProdMgr Browser Client (CMS Style)

Last updated: June 14th, 2007

Description:

This page contains a screenshot and 2 flash animations displaying a first version of the ProdMgr browser client. The client interacts with the ProdMgr service using JSON embedded service calls in JavScript. All calls are certificate based access controlled on the server side which is based on Clarens (an Apache mod_python extension). Within the screenshot and the flash animation you can also see a header called the CMS masthead which contains links to the most important services hosted within the CMS collaboration. This CMS masthead is loaded from a server allowing to dynamically change its content and behaviour for browser clients including it.

This screenshot includes time series monitoring using MonALISA.The screen shot shows a list of events and the total number of events assigned and finish in the lower right MonALISA window. The interface includes the CMS masthead and the drop down menu based on YUI.

Flas animation 1. This animation shows different aspecs of the user interface when running production jobs and gives a high level view of the prodcuction.

Flash animation 2. This flash animation shows how a user can interact with the ProdMgr browser client (this is an old interface but shows the functionality of sorting tables and unauthorized access).

Flash animation 3. This flash animation shows how services from the CMS VO (Virtual Organization) are discovered and how (if available) you can access the browser clients of these services.

ProdMgr overview Slides. Several slides showing its relationship with other production components and some more technical details.

Test Results Production jobs are reported to the ARDA dashboard. This picture shows the number of jobs that where used for testing ProdAgent and ProdMgr interaction over the last 6 months by a single user. We are currenly in the process of expanding testing to multiple users.
